Tool and Die Maker

Job Scope:

• Inspect, measure, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair common and complex die sets
• Diagnose tooling failures and implement corrective actions
• Develop and maintain repair findings, reports, and other technical documentation
• Heat treat tools and components as required
• Measure marks and scribes for metal stock machining operations
• Smooth flat and contoured surfaces using scrapers, abrasive stones, and power grinders
• Fit and assemble parts, assemblies, and mechanisms using hand tools
• Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances using precision measuring equipment
• Maintain tooling to maximize production efficiency and quality
• Support manufacturing operations by ensuring tooling and dies are operating properly
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Requirements:

• Previous Tool & Die Maker experience
• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex die sets
• Experience fitting and assembling tooling components
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and committed to maintaining production standards
