Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring motivated General Laborers for projects located in or around Washington, PA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $23/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

  • Perform demolition and site cleanup duties
  • Load and unload tools, equipment, building materials, and supplies
  • Prepare and maintain clean, organized work areas
  • Remove debris, trash, and excess materials from jobsites
  • Dig trenches, backfill holes, and assist with grading and site preparation
  • Operate basic machinery and power tools including drills, saws, and other construction equipment
  • Assist carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and other skilled tradesmen as needed
  • Follow all jobsite safety procedures and wear required PPE
  • Support daily construction activities as directed by supervisors

Requirements:

  • Previous construction or general labor experience preferred
  • Must be capable of using common construction tools, including:
    • 25' Tape Measure
    • Pry Bar
    • Utility Knife
    • Screwdriver Set
    • Wire Cutters
    • Wire Strippers
    • Crescent Wrench
    • Pliers
    • Claw Hammer
    • Chalk Line
    • Battery Drill
    • Framing Square
    • Tin Snips
    • Hack Saw
    • Circular Saw
    • Compound Miter Saw
    • Reciprocating Saw
    • Chop Saw
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift
  • Experience using common construction tools and equipment
  • Ability to work safely in an active construction environment
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and able to follow directions
  • Must be able to work independently or as part of a team

 

 

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years in the *trade* field
  • Must own basic Hand Tools
  • Must wear proper PPE
