Plumber

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Plumbers for projects located in or around Poughkeepsie, NY. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $28-$35/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Plumber and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:

• Install waste, water, drain, and gas piping systems for new construction projects
• Perform residential plumbing rough-ins for kitchens, bathrooms, and other plumbing systems
• Run and install plumbing lines according to code and project specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints and plumbing layouts
• Diagnosing and repairing plumbing system issues as needed
• Work with PVC, CPVC, and copper piping
• Perform soldering and brazing as required
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Requirements:

• Previous new construction plumbing experience required
• Experience with residential rough-ins for kitchens and bathrooms
• Underground plumbing experience is a plus
• Proficiency with PVC, CPVC, and copper piping systems
• Ability to braze and solder
• Ability to read blueprints and follow plumbing codes
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Must have basic plumbing tools and reliable transportation
• Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team
