Traveling Pipefitter

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Traveling Industrial Pipefitters for projects located in the Cameron, LA area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $39.50/hour based on experience plus $105/day per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:        

• Read and interpret blueprints, ISO s, filed installations, material takeoffs, field sketches, and understand specifications
  
• Fabricate and install screw pipe, socket weld pipe, stainless tubing, carbon steel weld pipe, stainless steel weld pipe
  
• Miter and fabricate all pipe
  
• Installs valves, underground pipe, pipe hangers and supports
  
• Steam and heat tracing
  
• Use beveling machine
  
• Basic plumbing repair
  
• Minor valve maintenance and repair
  
• Test piping systems
  
• Oxygen and acetylene cutting
  
• Basic rigging
  
• Operation of pneumatic and electric tools
  
• Leak test tubing systems

• Minimum 4 years of industrial construction/maintenance welding experience.
• Must pass a drug screen, hearing test, and a respirator fit test
• NCCER Certified preferred
