Journeyman Carpenter

Job Scope:

• Construct building frameworks including floors, walls, joists, studs, rafters, and truss systems
• Read and interpret architectural drawings, site coordinates, blueprints, and building specifications
• Perform precise layout work using laser levels, transits, total stations, and other advanced carpentry tools
• Establish building lines and verify structures are plumb, level, and built to specification
• Construct and install complex concrete forms for foundations, walls, columns, and elevated parking decks
• Build and install freestanding, circular, and winding stair systems while maintaining code compliance
• Install high-end finish carpentry components including crown molding, baseboards, door and window casings, and custom cabinetry
• Measure, cut, fit, and install materials with precision and attention to detail
• Maintain quality workmanship while adhering to all jobsite safety standards

Requirements:

• Journeyman-level carpentry experience 
• Strong rough and finish carpentry skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Experience with advanced layout and measuring techniques
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and committed to quality craftsmanship
