Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Low Voltage Electricians for projects located in or around Waukesha, WI. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $40/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are an Electrician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

 

Job Scope:      

  • Install infrastructure for building automation, temperature controls, and security systems
  • Install wire support systems, conduit, cabling, and cable management systems
  • Install and terminate panels, controllers, field devices, and related control system components
  • Install and connect power to equipment, panels, and devices
  • Label all installed wiring according to project requirements
  • Read, review, and follow blueprints, drawings, project specifications, deadlines, and sequences of operation
  • Work with programmers and commissioning agents to test and troubleshoot system operation
  • Coordinate material needs and ordering requirements
  • Maintain project tools, equipment, ladders, drills, gang boxes, and material inventory
  • Update as-built drawings as needed
  • Perform additional duties related to building automation and security system installations

Requirements:

  • Electrical experience required, preferably with low-voltage control systems
  • Knowledge of electrical codes
  • Journeyman or Master Electrical License is a plus
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and project documentation
  • Ability to learn and follow sequences of operation
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Professional attitude and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong attendance and reliability record
  • Ability to pass required background checks
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required
