Equipment Operator

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Equipment Operators for projects located in or around Manistee, MI.  This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $38/hour based on experience and skill level.  IF you are an Equipment Operator and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:    

• Operate a 55-Ton Rough Terrain (RT55) Crane on an active construction site
• Lift and position steel panels and rings used in the construction of above-ground storage tanks
• Safely maneuver loads according to site plans and lift procedures
• Coordinate with ironworkers, fitters, and project personnel during lifting operations
• Perform pre-operation equipment inspections and maintain safe crane operation practices
• Remain available in the operator seat between scheduled lifts as project demands require
• Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety requirements
