Sheetmetal Technician

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring motivated Sheetmetal Technicians of all skill levels for projects located in or around Newton, MA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $33/hour for an Apprentice and up to $40/hour for a Journeyman based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Sheetmetal Technician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:      

• Install ductwork on multi-residential construction projects
• Assemble sheet metal duct systems and components
• Read and interpret blueprints and project drawings
• Fabricate and shape sheet metal materials as needed
• Install ductwork according to project specifications
• Maintain quality workmanship while adhering to all jobsite safety standards

Requirements:

• Previous sheet metal experience preferred
• Experience with duct installation
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Experience assembling duct systems and components
• Ability to fabricate and shape sheet metal materials
• Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team
