Pipefitter

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Pipefitters for projects located in or around Norcross, GA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:    

• Perform journeyman-level pipe fitting work in a fabrication shop environment
• Perform piping takeoffs from drawings and specifications
• Lay out, fit, assemble, and prepare piping systems for fabrication and welding
• Work from current Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)
• Read and interpret isometric drawings, piping schematics, and construction blueprints
• Measure, cut, bevel, thread, and fit carbon steel, stainless steel, hydronic, mechanical, and process piping systems
• Verify fit tolerances and use tooling required to confirm proper fit-up
• Utilize alignment tools including Hi-Lo gauges, bridge cams, and two-hole pins
• Read and accurately use a tape measure
• Maintain quality workmanship while adhering to all safety standards
