Manufacturing Laborer

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Manufacturing Laborers for projects located in the Rock Valley, IA area. This is a third shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $21-22/hour based on experience plus $100/day worked per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:          

• Remove remnant material from laser-cut steel sheets
• Inspect parts to ensure they are burr-free
• Package and stack finished parts in the correct containers
• Follow packaging instructions listed on job travelers
• Accurately count finished parts and complete job documentation using a computer
• Read blueprints and match paperwork to the correct parts
• Lift, carry, and move steel parts weighing up to 80 lbs.
• Operate a forklift and overhead crane as needed

• Pass a drug screen, and background check
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  
• Basic computer skills for documentation
  
• Ability to perform physically demanding work
  
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
  
• Forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus
  
• PPE Required: Steel-toe boots, Safety glasses & Ear plugs
