MIG Welder

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman MIG Welders for projects located in or around Ringgold, GA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $28/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:      

• Perform MIG welding on steel components in an industrial manufacturing facility
• Complete production and recurring volume-order welding projects
• Weld material ranging from 3/16" to 1/2" passes
• Read and interpret prints, blueprints, and technical drawings
• Work in a fabrication shop environment while adhering to all safety requirements 
• Produce quality welds on heavy steel components
• Maintain productivity and quality standards on production work

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 4 years of verifiable MIG welding experience
• Must have experience welding steel in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Must be able to pass various weld test
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs and standing for 8–10 hours per day
• Must be able to work safely in a hot industrial fabrication shop environment
• Must wear required PPE at all times
