Carpenter

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Form Carpenters for projects located in or around Danville, VA.  This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $25-$27/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:    

• Assist with digging and grading footings using grade control methods
• Tie and install rebar according to project specifications
• Cut lumber and materials used for concrete forming
• Use hammers to drive stakes and secure concrete forms
• Use drills and hand tools to assemble and install forms
• Form tilt-wall panels on slab-on-grade projects
• Assist with pouring concrete into footings
• Use rakes and shovels to fine-tune grade and move concrete as needed
• Maintain a safe and productive work environment on site

• Must have previous concrete form carpentry experience
• Must have experience with footing work, forming, and rebar installation
• Must be able to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Must have all standard PPE
• Must have a tool belt and basic hand tools
• Must be able to perform physically demanding work in an outdoor environment
