Roofer

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Roofers for projects located in or around Pittsburgh, PA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $60/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Roofer and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:      

• Perform tear-off of existing roofing systems
• Install rigid insulation boards and gypsum or wood fiber cover boards
• Fasten cover boards to provide impact resistance against hail, foot traffic, and punctures
• Unroll and install roofing membranes including TPO, EPDM, and PVC systems
• Secure roofing materials using mechanical fasteners, adhesives, or ballast systems
• Perform seam welding using automated or hand-held hot-air welding equipment
• Apply specialized tapes and adhesives for EPDM roofing systems
• Complete flashing installation and penetration sealing around rooftop structures and equipment
• Ensure all roofing systems are installed to manufacturer specifications and project requirements

Requirements:

• Must have commercial roofing experience
• Must have experience with tear-off and installation of roofing systems
• Must have experience working with TPO, EPDM, and/or PVC membranes
• Must be able to perform seam welding, flashing, and waterproofing tasks
• Must be able to work safely at heights and in an outdoor environment
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be reliable and committed to safety on the job site
