Painter

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Painters for projects located in or around the Greater Los Angeles and Orange Country, CA area. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $35-$40/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Painter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:     

• Apply primers, sealers, and specialty coatings to wood, metal, drywall, and concrete surfaces
• Perform surface preparation including scraping, sanding, wire brushing, and cleaning
• Repair drywall damage, patch holes, caulk joints, and apply waterproofing materials
• Install and repair wall coverings, decorative finishes, and specialty coatings
• Paint and finish commercial interiors and exteriors
• Work on active commercial projects including banks, restaurants, office buildings, and retail facilities
• Maintain quality workmanship while meeting project schedules 

Requirements:

• Must have personal hand tools including roller frames, covers, paint brushes (2½", 3", and 4"), putty knives, caulking gun, scrapers, sanding tools, utility knife, buckets, etc. (materials supplied by contractor)

• Must wear work-boots and Painters Whites are preferred
• 5+ years of commercial painting experience preferred
• Experience with wall coverings, decorative finishes, and restoration work
• Ability to work independently and from project specifications
• Reliable transportation to various job sites throughout LA and Orange County
• Must provide personal hand tools (materials supplied by contractor)
• Ability to work overtime and occasional 7-day schedules when project demands require
