HVAC Technician

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Licensed HVAC Journeyman Technicians for projects located in or around the Mason County, WV. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $38-$41/hour based on experience plus $125/per diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job-site.  If you are a HVAC Technician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:   

• Installing and routing copper refrigerant piping systems
• Brazing and pressure-test piping connections
• Assisting with HVAC equipment installations and system startup activities
• Reading blueprints and coordinating installations with the project team
• Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards

Requirements:

• Valid West Virginia HVAC License (required)
• Proven experience installing and brazing copper refrigerant piping in commercial construction environments
• Ability to braze copper pipe ranging from 3/8" to 2-1/8" using an oxy/acetylene torch and 15% silver brazing rods
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and mechanical drawings
• Strong knowledge of HVAC installation practices, safety procedures, and code requirements
• Must provide own HVAC tools and PPE
