Welder

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Pipe Welders for projects located in the Tulsa, OK area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $28-35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:          

• Develop and qualify Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR) in accordance with API 5L and ASME B31.3 standards
• Select wire electrodes and granular flux combinations
• Conduct ultrasonic testing on steel plates and coils
• Edge milling for bevel preparation
• Form materials for LSAW and SSAW pipe production
• Continuous tack welding
• Perform submerged-arc welding passes on the inside and outside of pipe
• Monitor welding parameters such as voltage and amperage to ensure weld quality and penetration
