Plumber

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Plumbers for projects located in or around Prairie Village, KS. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $32-$35/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Plumber and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:      

• Laying out & installing top rough plumbing systems
• Measuring, cutting, threading & assembling piping (PVC, copper, stainless steel & iron)
• Installing & securing hangers, supports & pipe systems overhead & in ceilings/walls
• Performing gas line installation, testing & tie-ins
• Pressure testing systems & ensure leak free
• Coordinating with general contractors/trades on-site
• Maintaining a safe & clean work area
• Communicating daily with Foreman/Superintendent on progress & needs

Requirements:

• Strong experience with PVC, copper, stainless, iron piping, gas line installation & commercial top tough plumbing
• Experience in a Retail or Commercial environment
• Ability to read & interpret blueprints & schematics
• Standard tools (pipe threaders, cutters, measuring tools, etc.), power tools as required
• Must have PPE
