Skilled Trades Helper/ Apprentice

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Skilled Trades Helper/ Apprentices for projects located in or around Houston, TX. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $18–$19/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Installing and wiring commercial refrigeration equipment, including coolers, freezers, and related systems
• Perform electrical hookups, troubleshooting wiring, and assisting with startup and testing of equipment
• Reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and installation layouts
• Using basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Assisting with piping, mounting, and mechanical assembly of refrigeration systems
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area while following all site safety procedures

Requirements:

• Valid license required
• Must be mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting skills
• Must have solid experience in commercial refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, or mechanical work required
• Must have basic hand tools and knowledge of how to properly use them
• Ability to lift, carry, and work in commercial or industrial environments
• Reliable transportation and good attendance required
