Painter

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Apprentice Painters for projects located in the Forest City, NC area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $20/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Painter Apprentice looking to learn and grow in your trade alongside accomplished Craft Professionals, this is your chance to further your career!

Job Scope:        

• Prepare wood products for painting
• Paint with sprayer both on site and in booth at shop
• Minor brush painting
• Apply masking tape, paper, and drop cloths to protect areas not intended for painting, including removing fixtures like hardware or knobs
• Utilize hand-sanding tools or power machines to smooth surfaces and ensure proper adhesion of finishes
• Apply primers or sealers to bare wood to prepare them for final finish coats

• Must pass a drug screen, and background check
