Manual Machinist

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Manual Machinists for projects located in the Kenner, LA area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $34-38/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:        

• Operate vertical and horizontal lathes and other specified shop machinery to machine parts to precise tolerances following engineering prints or work orders
• Cut left-hand threads when required and perform threading boring facing turning and other machining operations as specified
• Read and interpret technical drawings blueprints or part specs measure and verify dimensions and tolerances ensure quality and accuracy of finished parts
• Perform setup alignment and tool changes as needed check part alignment and dimension after machining report any out-of-tolerance conditions or deviations

• 3+ years of experience as a Manual Lathe Machinist
