Iron Worker

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Iron Workers for projects located in the Jacksonville, FL area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $23-25/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:          

• Perform structural steel erection and ironwork installation
  
• Complete welding tasks as required (stick, MIG, or flux core depending on project needs)
  
• Install beams, columns, braces, and other structural components
  
• Bolt, align, and secure steel members using appropriate tools and equipment
  
• Assist with rigging, connecting, and placing structural steel
  
• Read and interpret basic blueprints and layout drawings
  
• Operate grinders, torches, impact wrenches, and other ironworker tools
  
• Follow all job site safety requirements and OSHA standards

• Ability to weld structural components and perform ironworker duties
• Experience with structural steel installation
