Roofer

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Roofers for projects located in the Reading, PA area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $30/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:          

• Perform a full inspection of the existing roof system
  
• Identify leaks, damage, ponding water, flashing issues, and structural concerns
  
• Provide a written assessment and recommended repair or replacement plan
• Remove damaged roofing materials where required
  
• Clean and prepare the roof surface for repair or installation
  
• Dispose of all removed materials in accordance with local regulations
• Repair or replace roofing sections as required
  
• Install new roofing materials (e.g., TPO, EPDM, PVC, metal, or modified bitumen as applicable)
  
• Install proper insulation where needed
  
• Ensure proper sealing, waterproofing, and weather protection
• Repair or replace flashing around HVAC units, vents, drains, skylights, and roof penetrations
  
• Ensure watertight sealing
• Inspect and clear roof drains and scuppers
  
• Correct minor drainage issues if present
• Remove all debris, nails, and materials from the job site
  
• Leave the property clean and safe
• Ensure installation complies with manufacturer specifications and local building codes
  
• Provide warranty information for labor and materials

• All roofing tools
• PPE and harness
• OSHA 10; TI can provide training for qualified candidates
