Welder/Fabricator

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Welders/Fabricators for projects located in the Eugene, OR area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $30-33/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:         

• Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings

   

• Lay out and complete fabrication projects accurately

   

• Shear, bend, press, and cut mild and stainless steel using various cutting methods

   

• Perform MIG (wire feed) and Submerged Arc (Sub-Arc) welding

   

• Operate torch and plasma cutting equipment

   

• Assemble and disassemble equipment as required

   

• Use precision measuring tools including calipers and micrometers

   

• Maintain accuracy and quality standards throughout production

• Proven experience in welding and metal fabrication
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Excel
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read and work from technical prints
• Must provide own hand tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
