Painter

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Painter Laborers for projects located in the Grand Rapids, MI area. This is a second shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $20-21/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Painter Laborer and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:          

• Use overhead cranes to move parts
• Lay out materials to be painted
• Sweep or blow off materials
• Check paint color in pump
• Load correct paint color
• Spray and stack materials in staging area for loading
• Use an elcometer to test paint thickness
• Verify pieces being loaded
• Document as they are loaded
• Mark off pieces on the pieces not shopping list
• Band, box, and shrink wrap materials
• Cut, carry, and stack 4x4 wood dunage

• Pass a drug screen, non DOT physical, and 75 pound lift test
