Machine Builder

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Machine Builders for projects located in the Grand Rapids, MI area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $25-35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:          

• Assemble machined and/or purchased components to build automotive diagnostic machines used to diagnose vehicle systems such as brakes.
• Perform mechanical assembly
• Wire junction boxes
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Use precision measuring tools to ensure accurate measurements
• Safely operate a drill press, small mill, band saw, forklift, and overhead crane
• Utilize power tools and assist with welding, fabrication, and heavy rigging as needed

• 2+ years of machine building experience
• Knowledge of welding, fabrication, and heavy rigging
