Plumber

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Plumbers for projects located in or around Danville, PA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:      

• Measure cut and prepare no-hub cast iron pipe/fitting
• Assemble & install joints using shielded no-hub couplings
• Torque couplings correctly with calibrated torque wrench
• Install supports/hangers per code
• Handle transitions to other materials
• Perform pressure/leak testing on DWV systems
• Working in tight/confined renovation spaces above ceilings, chases or patient area
• Cut, ream & clean copper tubing
• Solder joints for standard plumbing water lines using lead-free solder & appropriate flux
• Braze joints for higher strength needs
• Purge lines with nitrogen during brazing to prevent internal oxidation/scaling
• Install fittings, valves & supports
• Perform pressure testing disinfection for portable certification

Requirements:

• Must have PPE including hard hat, high visibility vest, glasses, gloves & boots
• Must pass PA state criminal background check
• Must have current flu shot
• Must be comfortable working in confined spaces & at heights
