Structural Welder

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Structural Welders for projects located in or around Warwick County, VA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $45/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:        

• Multipass. All position fillet and butt welds using the following processes: SMAW Shielded Metal Arc Welding, GMAW Gas Metal Arc Welding, FCAW Flux Cored Arc Welding and GMAWP Pulse Arc Welding
• Using Oxygen/Propane heating torch
• Air Carbon Arc Gouging
• Use fillet and butt weld gauges

Requirements:

• OSHA 10; may be provided to qualified candidates
• 4+ year NNS or Naval shipyard experience
• Must pass various weld test
• Experience working in a physically demanding environment shipboard sub-assemblies ladders staging etc
