Shipfitter

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Shipfitters for projects located in and around Calvert City, KY.  This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $24/hour based on experience plus $100/Per Diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site.  If you are a Shipfitter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:

• Repair Work on Towboats, River Barges, Some New Construction
• Working with Stainless Steel, Some Carbon Work
• Layout Modules, Assemblies for the Construction of Barges, Towboats, Marine Equipment

Requirements:

• • Able to Read and Interpret Blueprints and Drawings
  • Abe to Pass Fitter Test
  • Ability to Pass a Drug Screen, Physical, and Respirator Fit Test
  • Tools of the Trade
  • Standard PPE
