Journeyman Plumber

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Plumbers are needed in Winooski, VT. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $45/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Plumber and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:      

• PVC plumbing work at Winooski Hotel Project
• Oversee installation of PVC drainage systems
• Transition to installation of PVC Schedule 80 heating systems
• Supervise and mentor 2 plumbing apprentices
• Ensure all work complies with Vermont plumbing codes and project specifications
• Coordinate daily tasks and manage work-flow to meet project time-lines
• Inspect and verify quality of completed installations

Requirements:

• Must have valid Vermont Plumbing License 
• Must have proven experience with PVC drainage and heating systems
• Must have ability to supervise and train apprentices effectively
• Must have a strong understanding of state/local plumbing codes
• Must have standard PPE including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, boots, vest
• Must have ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be reliable, safety-focused, and able to maintain professional communication on site
