Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Iron Workers for projects located in Morristown, TN. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $28/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Read and interpret blueprints, erection drawings, and layout plans
Erect, connect, bolt-up, and weld structural steel components
Perform rigging, signaling, and safe movement of steel members
Install decking, handrails, stairs, joists, and other steel components
Use various tools such as torches, welders, grinders, and other iron-working equipment
Work at heights with proper fall protection and follow all site safety procedures
Minimum of 2+ years of structural or industrial iron-working experience preferred
Ability to climb, work at significant heights, and perform physically demanding tasks
Strong understanding of rigging, connecting, and steel assembly
Must be able to pass the 3G and 4G stick plate welding tests
