Machinist

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Machinist for a project located in Lafayette, CO.  This is a first shift opportunity and the pay range is $21-$24/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Machinist and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:       

• Grind files & polish metal using hand & power tools
• Prepare items for welding operations
• Apply final finish to completed products
• Fabricate Ionex manufactured parts & products for delivery
• Verify hand tools & finishing equipment are maintained & functional
• Identify & report issues & challenges relative to metal finishing equipment, processes, & personnel
• Implement corrective measures to overcome metal finishing obstacles
• Other tasks as assigned 

Requirements:

• Must demonstrate knowledge of concepts, practices & procedures commonly used within the metal finishing & manufacturing fields
• Must be able to read & write English
• Must be able to read & understand blueprints
• Must have basic tools
