Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Pipe Welders for projects located in the North Wilkesboro, NC area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $30/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Weld carbon steel plate and pipe in all positions
Perform pipe fitting and fabrication on 4" to 6" pipe
Complete track welding, plate welding, and structural welding tasks
Assist with vessel extension and modification work throughout the facility
Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and layout diagrams
Cut, prep, bevel, and fit pipe and plate prior to welding
Work with grinders, torches, magnetic drills, and standard fabrication tools
Support installation of new components on large industrial vessels
Perform quality checks to verify weld integrity, alignment, and accuracy
