Industrial Refrigeration Technician

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Industrial Refrigeration Technicians for projects located in and around Avon, NY. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of $32-35/hour based on experience & skill level.  If you are a Industrial Refrigeration Technician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:

• Maintain and repair ammonia refrigeration, steam, compressed air, HVAC, and fire protection systems

• Operate facility systems including SCADA monitoring and building rounds

• Perform diagnostics and repairs using hand/power tools and test instruments

• Fabricate parts for repairs and assist in developing safety and maintenance procedures

• Participate in emergency response and safety audits (QRMP)

• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Must hold or obtain CFC Type I & II EPA certification
• Physically able to lift 100 lbs, climb, and wear SCBA
• Willing to join Emergency Response Team
• Flexibility to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Preferred: Third Class Stationary Engineer/Steam R4
• Refrigeration Operator license (Rochester, NY)
