Carpenter

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Carpenters for projects located in the Hanover, NH area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $38/hour based on experience and skill level.  Job Scope:        

• Fabricate custom woodwork including cabinets, doors, moldings, panels, furniture, and windows
• Set up, operate, and maintain hand and power tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling wood
• Fit, glue, clamp, and sand components; prepare surfaces for finishing
• Install hardware such as hinges, catches, and drawer pulls
• Estimate materials, time, and costs to support project planning
• Review shop drawings and blueprints with the Shop Manager
• Travel to job sites for measurements or installations as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
• Coordinate with other trades and communicate project-related issues
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• 5–7 years of experience in cabinetry or skilled woodworking
• Must be able to meet the physical demands required to perform essential job functions
• Ability to lift, carry, and handle materials, and work in varied positions (standing, bending, reaching)
• Reliable transportation and attendance
