Crane Operator

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Crane Operators for a project located in Strasburg, PA. Job Scope:    

• Operate the 35-ton truck crane to boom hoist and set steel components per lift plans and directions from rigging or iron-working crew
• Review lift plans and verify load weights radii and rigging configurations before performing lifts
• Coordinate with riggers and signal persons to ensure safe and precise material placement
• Maintain clear communication with ground personnel using standard hand signals and/or radio communication
• Help the concrete crew with pours form setup or material handling
• General labor or equipment support tasks as assigned by site supervision
• Assisting with material staging or job-site organization to maintain efficient work-flow Qualifications
• Working knowledge of load charts rigging techniques and hand signals

Requirements:

• Must have a valid NCCCO or equivalent Crane Operator Certification for hydraulic truck cranes
• Must have a current DOT medical card and valid drivers license CDL preferred
• Must have a minimum 3 years of crane operating experience preferably with steel erection or structural work.
