Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Electricians for projects located in the Tampa, FL area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $32/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:         

  • Install and upgrade power distribution and communication systems

  • Solve complex and dynamic problems in the field, including those involving VFDs and PLCs

  • Design and build solutions for automation needs and hazardous area environments

  • Read electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals, and ability to create simple diagrams when needed
  • Other tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Previous experience in electrical system design, power distribution, automation, instrumentation, or controls

  • PLC programming experience or a strong understanding of PLC operation and troubleshooting

  • Analog and digital motor control experience

  • Proficiency with electrical equipment and hand tools
