Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Journeyman Masons for projects located in and around Sacramento, CA. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of $35-40/hour based on experience & skill level.  If you are a Mason and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:

• Clean, smooth, & level existing surfaces
• Remove old materials
• Apply waterproof backer boards
• Measure work area and mark guidelines according to blueprints or client specifications to plan the tile pattern
• Cut & shape tiles to fit around obstacles into corners and to create specific designs using specialized tools such as wet saws & tile scribes
• Apply adhesive to prepared surface and set tiles in place
• Ensure tiles are level, evenly spaced, and aligned correctly
• Apply grout to fill the spaces between tiles, seal finished surface to protect from moisture damage
• Remove and replace damaged or cracked tiles as needed to repair existing installations
• Consult with clients to help choose tile patters, colors, & designs
• Inspect finished work to ensure it meets high standards
• Other tasks as assigned
