Machinist

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring a skilled Machinist III for projects located in and around Kent, WA. This is a full time opportunity with a pay rate of up to $40/hour based on experience & skill level.  If you are a Machinist and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:

• Interpret 2D blueprints and 3D CAD models (GD&T)
• Create, edit, and run M-code/G-code toolpaths
• Operate 3- and 4-axis milling and turning machines (HBM, VMC, gantry mill, lathe)
• Perform setups, inspections, deburring, and quality checks
• Manage tooling, stage materials, and verify programs
• Perform equipment maintenance and support lean manufacturing initiatives
• Follow company safety and quality policies
• Cross-train on various machines and assist team members
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of machining experience or equivalent technical background
• Strong mathematical and blueprint-reading skills
• Experience using forklifts, overhead cranes, jib cranes, and hoists
• Excellent attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Proper PPE
