Boring Mill Machinist

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Boring Mill Machinists for projects located in Milwaukee, WI. This is a full time opportunity with a pay rate of up to $40/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Perform preventative maintenance checks 

• Run production at established rates 
• Measure parts using specified measuring equipment in binders
• Load/unload parts 
• Ensure safety rules are followed
• Measure, install, & adjust tooling 
• Keep work area clean
• Get prints from shop engineers
• Set up & prgram funuc controls
• Manipulate programs 
• Work with heavy metals
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• • Ability to read production/process sheet

  • Ability to operate CNC Mill and/or Lathe
  • Ability to use measurement tools & inspect parts 
  • Ability to effectively deburr parts, make tool changes
  • Must have Experience with heavy metals
  • Strong Mechanical Knowledge 
  • Knowledge of G-Coding is a Plus
  • Knowledge of tool change outs
  • Must have strong computer skills 
  • Ability to read Blueprints
  • Hand Tools
  • Proper PPE
