BAS Installer Building Automation Systems

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced BAS Installers for projects located in Lakewood, CO. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:        

• Install and wire building automation system components 
• Working with sensors, controllers and actuators 
• Guide and direct subcontractors and ensure guidelines are being followed 
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and technical drawings 
• Perform systems startup, testing and commissioning to ensure proper operation 
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues and system malfunctions 
• Maintain accurate records of installations 
• Follow all safety standards and protocols during installation
• Stay current with industry trends codes and energy management best practices
• Maintain personal and company tools in good working condition

• Must be familiar with current bas installation codes procedures and practices
• Ability to learn the JCI controllers and installation standards
• Must possess and maintain a strong knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC controls and building automation protocols e.g. BACnet Modbus ethernet
• Ability to utilize all available resources for problem solving as needed
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license and clean driving record
