Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Deck Electricians for projects located in and around Newport News, VA. This is a firsts hift opportunity with a pay range of up to $37.31/hour based on experience plus $140/Per Diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:
Use electrical meters and test instruments (voltohm meters, clamp-on ammeters, insulation resistance testers, meggers, etc.)
Requirements:
Minimum of 3+ years in the electrical field (Industrial, Marine, or Commercial Nuclear applications)
Active DOD clearance required
Ability to read and interpret shipboard electrical installation drawings, wiring tables, schematics, and work packages
Able to work independently with proper instruction
Physically able to: climb vertical/inclined ladders, crawl, bend, stoop, work at heights, and work in confined spaces
Must pass Stud Shooting training class and associated vision test (administered by NNS)
