Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Structural Welders for projects located in and around Paducah, KY. This is a first and second shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $24/hour based on experience plus $100/Per Diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:
Perform structural welding for new construction on river barges and towboats
Flux core welding .052 dual shield on carbon and stainless steel
Requirements:
Must be able to back gouge, root pass, and cover/fill
Visual inspection only – must pass as 1st Class
Complete online yard orientation prior to test date
Must provide own tools and PPE (hard hat, steel-toe boots, gloves, face shield, etc.)
Ability to read and follow blueprints and specifications
Reliable transportation to and from job site
