Ironworker

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Ironworkers for projects located in and around Maynardville, TN.  This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $24/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are an Ironworker and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:     

• Laying out, Fabricating, Assembling, and Installing Structural and Reinforcing Steel Components according to Project Specifications
• Position, Align, and Bolt or Weld Steel Members in Place
• Cut, Bend, and Weld Metal Pieces using Torches, Plasma Cutters, and Welding Equipment
• Connect Columns, Beams, and Girders using Bolts or Welding Techniques
• Install Decking, Joists, and Structural Supports
• Rig and Move Materials using Cranes, Hoists, and other Lifting Equipment
• Inspect Work and Ensure all Safety  Procedures and Codes are Followed

Requirements:

• • Minimum of 4 Years of Verified Ironworking Experience
  • Solid Experience Working in Industrial, Commercial, or Structural Steel Projects
  • Take Pride in Safety, Craftsmanship, and Reliability
  • Able to Read and Interpret Blueprints, Drawings, and Specifications
  • Comfortable Working at Heights using Harnesses, Ladders and Scaffolding
  • Strong Understanding of Rigging, Welding, and Bolting Procedures
  • Have Basic Hand Tools and PPE
  • NCCER or AWS Certification is a Plus
