Marine Aluminum Welder

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Aluminum Welders for a project located in Tacoma, WA. This is a full time opportunity and the pay range is $25-40/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:     

• Fabricate aluminum components using MIG or TIG welding
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machinery, including: Press brake machines, Shears, Other standard fabrication tools
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications
• Perform assembly tasks on various products, ensuring accuracy and quality control
• Utilize measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure precise dimensions
• Conduct: Pipe threading, Ductwork fabrication, Rigging tasks as required by project specifications
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols on construction sites
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize fabrication processes

• Previous experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment is required
• Familiarity with marine fabrication is a plus
• Proficient in welding techniques including: MIG, TIG, FCAW, Stick welding
• Mechanical knowledge of fabrication processes
• Experience operating cranes, forklifts, and other heavy machinery is advantageous
• Basic math skills are essential for accurate measurements and calculations
• Knowledge of ASME codes and standards related to welding and fabrication is beneficial
