Equipment Operator

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Heavy Equipment Operators for projects located in Plant City, FL.  This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $27/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:        

• Operating a Forklift and Telehandler, moving materials and product around the plant
• Operating various construction machinery including telehandlers, loaders, forklifts, and other equipment
• Conduct preshift inspections of equipment, identifying and reporting any maintenance issues
• Manual Labor - assist in site preparation activities such as clearing debris, leveling ground, and hand grading
• Perform general labor tasks like shoveling, raking, and sweeping
• Assist in setting up and maintaining construction barriers and signage

• Need experience working in an operations plant
• Experience operating heavy equipment in a construction setting
• Site specific training, drug test, and background check required
• Will require FPP Florida Phosphate Producers Card and will arrange for on-line FPP training, contingent on performance
• Adhere to all safety protocol, PPE required
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Relevant construction equipment operator certifications are required
