Manual Machinist

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Manual Machinists for projects located in Portland, OR.  This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $35-42/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:       

• Running large vertical boring mills and other manual shop equipment 
• Other related tasks assigned 

• Knowledge of machining procedures for mild steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, cast iron and bronze 
• Must have knowledge of precision machining procedures and ability to hold .001 tolerances or less 
• Must have basic tools and standard PPE
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience
