HVAC Installer

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled HVAC Installers for projects located in and around the Springfield, OR area. This is a full time opportunity, with a pay rate up to $35/hour based on experience & skill level. Job Scope:

• Install main trunk lines starting from Air Handling Units (AHUs) located in mechanical rooms

• Hang ductwork using approved trapeze hangers, threaded rods, or straps, ensuring spacing and sizing comply with SMACNA and seismic codes

• Install branch lines feeding:

  • VAV boxes

  • Diffusers

  • Return grilles

• Coordinate with ceiling grid layout to ensure alignment of registers and diffusers

• Maintain all required clearances from:

  • Fire sprinkler piping

  • Lighting fixtures

  • Electrical conduits

• Install ductwork insulation, including vapor barriers where specified

• Ensure all fire/smoke dampers are properly installed at wall and floor penetrations, coordinating with fire-rated assemblies

• Other tasks as assigned
