Fabricator/Welder

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Fabricator/Welders for projects located in Rockwall, TX.  This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $32/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:   

• Layout, fabrication and assembly of custom metal structures and components 
• Read and interpret technical drawings 
• Operate fabrication equipment
• Perform high quality welding in multiple processes 
• Cut, shape and prepare metal using tools such as; saws, shears, torches and grinders 
• MIG, TIG and stick welding 
• Working with steel, aluminum and stainless steel 
• Assemble fabricated parts to create finished products 
• Operate fabrication machinery such as; press brakes, rollers and plasma cutters
• Troubleshoot fabrication challenges 
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
• Assist in loading, unloading and staging materials for fabrication 

• Must have previous proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder in a manufacturing, construction or custom fabrication environment 
• Must be proficient in MIG and TIG welding and knowledge of stick welding is a plus 
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
