Marine Fitter

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Fitters for projects located in and around Paducah, KY.  This is a first or second shift opportunity with a pay of up to $24/hour based on experience plus $100/Per Diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site.  If you are a Marine Fitter eager to master your skills while working alongside our accomplished Craft Professionals, this is your chance to advance your career!

 Job Scope:         

• Perform repair work on towboats and river barges

• Assist with new construction projects as needed

• Work primarily with stainless steel; some carbon steel work required

• Layout modules and assemblies from blueprints for barge, towboat, and marine equipment construction

Requirements:

• • Able to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
  • Ability to pass a fitter test
  • Able to pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
  • Basic tools of the trade
  • Standard PPE
