Industrial Millwright

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Industrial Millwrights for projects located in and around Longview, WA.  This is a full time opportunity with a pay range of up to $38/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are an Industrial Millwright and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:

• Inspect and test various electromechanical equipment

• Perform electrical tests using portable electronic equipment, including but not limited to:
  • Megger, PDMA, MCE, Multimeter, DLRO. Install and remove AC and DC electric motors
• Laser align equipment
• Replace sleeve and anti-friction bearings
• Set seals and air gaps
• Torque critical components to proper torque specifications
• Clean electromechanical equipment utilizing bead blasting, ice blasting, and solvent cleaning

• Ability to perform basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, and understand fractions and percentages
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
• Ability to travel locally and overnight
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry items up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, and bend for prolonged periods
• Ability to perform manual labor for up to 12 or more hours per day
• Acute hearing and strong field of vision
• Ability to work in demanding physical and inclement weather conditions
